For your business, Google algorithms are important. They determine how high your website appears when potential customers search for certain phrases.
Google changes their algorithms 500-600 times a year – almost twice in day! What does this mean though? Well, it means that your website may perform lower one moment and higher the next.
Some of these changed are insignificant, very unlikely to affect you. But there are some major ones throughout the year.
For example, on March 12th 2019, Google announced a major ‘core’ update, only the 3rd since they began to use this term. Furthermore, they give no extra information on what it changed.
