Fun and exciting web design is always a great idea for a food brand. This was the starting point for the new web design for Port Royal Patties. However, the Jamaican family-run team had a bigger vision – how can we help our customers get their delicious patties where and when they want?
Working with Port Royal, we produced a couple of elegant solutions to answer this question.
Firstly, we linked to online grocers’ websites, with the gorgeous patties already pre-filtered on the page. Customers can select their preferred online retailer and add the products quickly and easily to their baskets. An attractive and simple solution to help Port Royal’s fans.
But we didn’t want to stop there. So, we also created a store finder so customers can find their nearest Port Royal retailer. They can simply drop in their town or post code and the website will pull back the nearest shop name, address and distance from their location. Consumers can even get directions to the store or pick a radius or number of stores if preferred. It’s this sort of web design innovation that makes it a thrill to work in our industry.
Of course, the website showcases all the amazing products and allows customers to see all the ingredients and nutritional information. But with these two delightfully simple additional solutions, Port Royal has transformed a brochure website into something that offers even more value to its consumers. Which in turn helps support sales and brand exposure.
Throw in a live Instagram feed onto the homepage, so the content is always as fresh as the patties, and plenty of Port Royal colour and you have a recipe for website success.
